{Modern AU Kataang} ~ (This is extremely inspired by a movie I saw, I don't remember the name though and it was also a different language and gender-bent) ~ Once arriving in London, Katara can't find her way around but Aang can help her except- There's a problem; She doesn't speak any English and he doesn't speak any Spanish... While helping her, people think he's doing it for pity but he isn't... Then, she has to leave the British capital, but does she want to?

Growing up, Aang has always looked up to ice skaters. One day, he meets a professional. He falls in love with her, so pretends to be on her team to impress her even though he's a mediocre ice skater. The love slowly turns less and less one-sided...

Too much duties. Too much expectations. Too much attempts and obligations. Avatar Aang must focus on saving the world after ending the 100 years war, even if this means he'll have to leave Katara aside... However she cannot accept such behavior from the one she loves... Enough of this : Katara couldn't bear the idea of being left aside and forgotten by Aang ; being more and more consumed about his role of Avatar. Their break up was more hurtful than devastating... One simply couldn't live without the other... But as one was trying to forget in his own way, the other was crying in his own corner... Was there still a way for their love to be ? Kagome and I had a great time together in her world, but today she is dead for a long time already. Day by day I realize that without Kagome I don't belong in this time anymore. I'm immortal but she was mortal. The wish to be mortal appeared. Then one day I meet the chemist and biologist Masaru. He promised to help me so he started experimentalising with me. Some day the tide is turning and Masaru suddenly dissapears. Thereby his daughter Korra finds me. She notices that I'm different, but also I see a difference in her. Together we try to solve the mystery.

Earth. Fire. Air. Water. Long ago, humanity lived in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Titans attacked. Only the Avatar, Master of All Four Elements could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. 200 years passed and humanity erected walls Maria, Rose, and Sina. My brother, Thomas and I still believe there's hope, that there is a world beyond those walls worth fighting for. He pretends he's given up that hope, but he hasn't. My grandma used to tell me stories about the old days, about the oceans and rivers and forests and deserts and mountains, about before giant, human-like monsters emerged from no where and started eating people, almost wiping out humanity. I will go beyond the walls one day. I believe there is still hope. The Avatar is out there somewhere. These 200 years will soon be nothing but a horrible memory.

A short novel "Katara: A Private Life of the Bloodbender" is one of Avatar: The Last Airbender fan fictions of psychological lyric story. Ten chapters narrate about the emotions, feelings and expressions of Katara in a third book of the series, about how much her character changed during one year voyaging with Avatar and about her inner shock which she suffered from after conflict with Hama the bloodbender, during the dangerous invasion and Zuko's coming into the team. The novel points especially at Katara's hardship during these seasons, caused not only by many disheartening challenges she have to face, but also by depression connected with a new full moon and the bloodbender's psychosis. The story provides Katara's point of view, unlike most of the fanfictions (and also the TV series) which present mainly Zuko's point of view and he is shown as a misunderstood hero and don't really care about his hostile and traitor's role in most of the original storyline. Austere plot of the novel proves sadly that not all the sacrifices are assessed positively, neither between friends everything is always fair and impartial, and it also shows how quickly the insidious psychical disease can completely shatter even the most beautiful friendship and the strongest relationships. The novel contains many of the original story, mainly the episodes "The Western Air Temple", "The Desert", "The Southern Raiders" and "The Puppetmaster". Fluffy-esque fan fic, will have some angst in Chapters 5-6 + mature theme in them.(Not major to story, but helps understand Chapter 8 better.) Chapter 5-6 ONLY contains mention of Taang! Chapters 1-2 has kinda Zutara, but it's extremely minor. Also has elements of Tokka, but not mainly.
